Elmo is a retired character on the Are U Super Cereal YouTube Channel.

Description[]

Personality[]

Like Kermit, Elmo seems to be somewhat absent-minded and sometimes even downright stupid. However, Elmo is often more mature than Kermit, but also tends to be very gullible and easily manipulated by Kermit. All the dogs (Gunther, Mia, and Jasper) hate him.

Species[]

Elmo's species is shrouded in mystery. In the episode "Elmo and Kermit's backyard Challenge", Kermit and Michael reveal they are unaware what Elmo is exactly. Initially, even Elmo was unaware what he was but later claimed he was a "Guidava". At one point, Kermit stated that Elmo's species is the prey of ostriches, but this is probably incorrect.

Drug Use[]

Also like Kermit, Elmo has the tendency to take drugs. Many times, he is shown to have a cocaine addiction, even resorting to snorting flour. When he and Sean were playing with the blue screen room, Elmo's eyes stared blankly and his mouth dropped a little, and his speech had even slowed. Sean even uses his Mr. Mackey voice to say "Drugs are bad, m'kay?" to which Elmo slowly replies "Yeah...drugs are bad." He later reveals that he became high from toothpaste, but then snaps out of it after Sean says it's not possible to get high from it. Then he goes out and rapes his mom, Elmo once gave Kermit LSD-laced joints, and even says "We tripped BALLS!", indicating that Elmo may have also smoked it.

Clones[]

Elmo has many clones, which he sometimes uses in his schemes with Kermit. He created the clones with a cloning machine he obtained from Constantine, then used them to attack Sean and take over the house. One of the clones was cooked by Kermit, but disappeared shortly afterwards. One of his clones was possibly set on fire by Sean, and Elmo recruited his clones in his scheme to get rid of the Alien Mob. Another one appeared when someone knocked at the door, much to Kermit's shock and annoyance. He also used his clones to help him and Kermit distract Sean. After helping him steal Sean's Escalde, Elmo sold them to an unknown individual, much to Sean's amusement and Kermit's disbelief.

Deaths[]

Elmo has died many times, through none of them are permanent. He was in a freezer for a week, and was left there again after being discovered by Kermit. He committed suicide by jumping out the car window. He was presumably killed after being taken by an unknown supernatural entity. He killed himself after he made a belly flop into the pool from the balcony.

'Retirement' (2022)[]

After Steven departed the channel in 2022 for an unknown reason to pursue a solo career, Elmo was left without someone to voice him. He has made just one appearance in a speaking role following this in 'Kermit The Frog and Elmo Play HIDE & SEEK at Arcade' in late April 2023 where his usual voice was replaced by a squeak sound effect. He was the first eliminated contestant and did not speak once for the remainder of the video. It is unclear if he will receive another voice actor but for now It seems like he will remain retired.

Relationships[]

Kermit[]

Kermit is for the most part Elmo's best friend. However, Elmo tends to be absent-minded and gullible, allowing Kermit to easily trick and manipulate him. Kermit also does not hesitate to harm Elmo, such as leaving him in the freezer for 2 weeks and constantly cutting Elmo's hand without remorse. Elmo will sometimes come to his senses and get angry at Kermit, though this is not effective at all. Elmo also doesn't care about Kermit, giving him LSD joints and threatening to fuck him up with a pair of pliers while robbing Sean. Multiple times, Kermit and Elmo have had sexual relations, like when Kermit forced himself on Elmo or forced Elmo with a handgun. There only one known time where Elmo agreed to have sex with him.

Timrek[]

When Elmo first met Timrek, he admired him for being a legitimate magician and getting him clean without having to take a bath. Despite this, Timrek does not hesitate to bully Elmo and do terrible magic tricks on him. Elmo also tends to mess with Timrek; he once burned Timrek's top hat, bow tie, and cane on purpose as admitted in Kermit the Frog, Elmo, and Cookie Monster's Road Trip to Colorado!, He was afterwards poofed into a Pringles can.

Cookie Monster[]

Cookie Monster and Elmo seem to have very little interactions with one another. In one episode, he openly says that he "doesn't like the blue bastard".

Sean/Steven/Michael[]

Just as Kermit maintains a friendship with Sean, Michael, and Steven, Elmo also manages to do the same. Unfortunately, also like Kermit, he sometimes insults and looks down on them. He at one point assisted Kermit in robbing Sean's LED lights.

Jigsaw[]

Jigsaw is an enemy of Elmo. Elmo first met him when he and Kermit were captured by him, while looking for Sean, who was kidnapped by Jigsaw four months prior. When Jigsaw resurfaced, he sent a figure in a pig mask to capture Sean and Elmo, wanting revenge, and he also kidnapped Kermit, Michael, Joey, Brian and Sergio a few days earlier.

Angry Mom[]

Angry Mom is an enemy of Elmo. In one video, Mom drives Sean, Steven, Michael, Kermit, Elmo, Towelie, and Gunther to the beach, on the way to the beach Mom beats Elmo up in the car for not siting down and being annoying.

Jobs[]

Contrary to Kermit, Elmo does not have very many occupations.

Chef[]

Elmo has appeared on many of Kermit's cooking shows called Kermit's Kitchen. In the first episode, he attempts to hold the apple so Kermit can accurately cut it, only to have his hand cut by a knife. Kermit later puts him on a cooking tray and bakes him in the oven which actually was his clone, which the REAL Elmo told Kermit while he was riding Frank.

Witness Protection[]

In one episode, Elmo has Sean relocated to protect him from an Italian mobster, indicating that he has his own witness protection program. However, Elmo demands that Sean pay $10 thousand a week in exchange for protection.

Doctor[]

Elmo assists a man known as "The Doctor" in fixing Kermit's right eye. Elmo even attempts to finish the job with a lightsaber.

Ghost Hunter[]

When Kermit and Michael investigate Cripple Creek, Kermit enlists Elmo as his assistant. However, the two split up after hearing a strange noise. Elmo is later taken by a ghostly figure and disappears thereafter.

Park Greeter[]

When the members of Are U Super Cereal went to Colorado State Park, Kermit and Elmo sat at the entrance and greeted people as they entered.

Trivia[]

Elmo is a popular character on the popular children's show Sesame Street.
He is voiced by Stephen, a.k.a. TheDAITrickster. However, due to Stephen leaving the group in early March 2022 to pursue a solo career in YouTube, Elmo's status on the Are u Super Cereal channel currently remains unknown.
He almost got a date with Miss Piggy before Kermit interrupted his phone call.
When he and Kermit robbed Sean, Elmo used pliers as a weapon.
Various times, he claims to be a "güdiva", technically meaning he can shed his skin after having a near-death experience, basically making him immortal.
He and Kermit tracked and killed Paisley Houndstooth, much to Sean's dimay
